An assortment of some of the world’s most amazing and delicious fig varieties, with flavorful pink, green, or red flesh. Fruit will vary in size depending on variety. Figs are super easy to grow and most thrive outside in zones 7-11 and many people grow them farther north with protection. We get massive amounts of fruit each year in our small Missouri greenhouse. Figs are delicious for fresh eating but also make incredible jams, jellies, desserts, and are delicious in salads and main dishes as well! Young fig plants may need some protection even in zones 7-8 if the winter is harsh until they are well developed, but this can be easily done by either bringing them inside or wrapping them in cloth or landscape fabric. Includes 3 assorted small plants from 2 varieties.

We are super excited to be offering a selection of live plants, these are produced for us by tissue culture, a natural process that produces plants that are generally high-quality and disease free. We have some stunning new food crops in our plant listing, we hope you will try some of the exciting rare plants we offer this year. Pre-order now, as supplies on some these will be limited. The plants we ship are small, but sturdy, and we offer a 30 day guarantee on live plants. Most plants will be 6”-12” in height. Plants will ship as available after the first of April to the end of June. We will ship orders to southern zones first. No guaranteed delivery dates. No orders shipped outside of the USA. No Extra shipping costs, just pay our regular $3.50. (PRE-ORDER PLANTS WILL SHIP AFTER APRIL 1, 2017)

What are the pros? Plants grow quickly

What are the cons? small on arrival

Review:

I received Lattarula, Kadota, and Ishia. The plants were very small and frail on arrival, so you need to pay attention to them in the beginning. Once they become established, they grow quickly and are relatively care-free. After 2 years, the Lattarula will have a small harvest this season.

What are the pros? Price, Healthy

What are the cons? Small Plants

Review:

I received my three figs about a month ago. When they arrived they were very small plugs, only about an inch or two tall. I wasn't sure how well they'd do but after putting them in gallon pots they seem to be doing very well. They were identified as Olympian, Little Ruby, and Yellow Long Neck.

What are the pros? Healthy, easy to grow

What are the cons? Small, more assortment

Review:

I love figs and had high hopes to add some rare figs to my collection. I ordered three at the sale price, all three orders had the exact same plants: Ischia, Little Ruby and Olympian. You would think as they packed my order they would add more of an assortment to my order. The plants were small, all looked green and healthy with the exception of one Ischia. Overall I was pleased with my order, I just hoped for more of a variety when ordering more than one.

What are the pros? Great value, variety

What are the cons? None

Review:

Three trees arrived today: Little Ruby, Olympian, and Desert King - very pleased with variety. All are around 6". They appear to be in good shape. Packaging advises letting them rest and giving them water for a couple days.
