What are the pros? Ornamental and tasty pepper.
What are the cons? Fragile and break when picking
This is a very pretty pepper and also very flavorful. Produces a good number of peppers on fairly compact plants. Some peppers will be white, some green and some variegated. Then as they ripen, they begin to turn orange, some still variegated and then at last a beautiful red. They are not a real thick flesh, but thicker than a drying pepper. Nice amount of heat, but not too hot. A favorite of mine and in demand at the farmers market. They get their name from a fish company that used them in their batter mix. Hence the name fish as they were used to flavor fish, but they taste great on anything that needs spicing up!
