70 days. Nearly full-sized Romaine type dappled in a lovely, deep crimson. Another “Flashy” introduction from Frank Morton, Shoulder to Shoulder Farm, this one is a high yielder, and also makes a great early baby Romaine. Very tender and delicious!

What are the pros? TASTE, easy to grown, tender

What are the cons? Nothing!

Review:

This is by far the best tasting lettuce I've ever eaten. It was so good, I kept eating it plain before I made salads. Buttery and tender....so, so good! It was easy to grow and very forgiving when I neglected to water my plants for several days in a row....on a few occasions (oops). I had great germination rates, as well. I live in Northern Wyoming where the weather can be hot and dry in the summers. My plants were in full sun for 12 days and they handled the heat quite well (no bitterness and they kept growing new leaves). Quite amazing! I highly recommend this; you won't regret it!

What are the pros? beautiful romaine

What are the cons? small

Review:

This lettuce stood out to me by the way that it looked, and also because it was a romaine lettuce. It germinated quickly and I think I had at least 95 percent germination. Looks so pretty I wouldn't eat any until it started really producing.
