Huge 6-inch blooms are pure white with bright blue stripes! Too beautiful to describe; very spectacular looking. One of our favorite varieties. Introduced in 1960.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, fun variety

What are the cons? none

Review:

The picture doesn't show how wonderfully various the flowers can be. So interesting! Every morning I get to see what new pattern it will make. Flowers are large and plant grows hardily--even in pots on the patio.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, hardy

What are the cons? Late bloomer

Review:

I love this variety of morning glory! The ones we grew this year are a deeper blue than shown in these pictures. The only downside is they seem to bloom later than other varieties but that may also be because of the wetter than usual summer we've had. Neighbors keep complimenting my mailbox covered in blooms!

Review:

I planted these "Flying Saucer" morning glory seeds in late April in Zone 7b. For a while, the growth seemed really slow, but about mid-July, the plants took off. I had planted them around a light pole. They covered the pole just as I had wanted. The flowers were incredible. There were some pure whites and pure blues, but there were many others that were mixed. The size of the blooms were incredible as well. All the bees loved them. I would highly recommend this variety to anyone.

I, and all my neighbors, are amazed at the beauty of these flowers. Extremely vigorous grower. My unsightly fence is covered with an incredible number of these beautiful flowers.
