What are the pros? easy to grow, tasty

What are the cons? none

Review:

These radishes were awesome. Super easy to grow, even in Arkansas red clay heavy soil. Germinated extremely well, and so way to harvest. They are also very tasty, starting off sweet but with a just a bit of a bite later. Whole family loves them!

What are the pros? Yummy!

What are the cons? Slow germination

Review:

I love these little guys. They took longer than I expected for the first two sowings to germinate. But totally worth it. We pull them small and the entire family loves them, raw with a small smear of butter on them. Which is saying a lot with three kids under five. :-)

What are the pros? Easy in every way

What are the cons? Not as kicky as I like

Review:

These were direct sown into a raised bed in Northern Illinois in March and they came up quick, easy, and with no issues. Nothing bothered them. They were crunchy without being pithy, and mild. No complaints, as they delivered as promised. However, if you are looking for a radish that is a bit more bitey, you will want to look elsewhere. What I did do however it to let a few go to seed. They created large, lovely pods, and I took all the seeds and grew microgreens with them. Delicious!

What are the pros? Mild flavor, easy to grow

What are the cons? None for our family

Review:

Received this free when we ordered seeds this year (2014). We had radishes five weeks after planting them. The kids love them and we are now replanting for a later summer crop of them. These are much tastier than a grocery store variety. They might keep well, but we ate ours all within a few days so we are not sure.

Review:

Tried these in 2013 and loved them. Grew primarily at the advice of a friend who said if you let radishes flower and leave them in garden, they will deter squash bugs from nearby squash. No squash bugs this year!! I did eat some of the radishes as I thinned the rows, and they were nicely sweet and creamy, with a little bite. These made me understand the custom of eating them for breakfast in Europe! I am planting them again this year, and plan to eat many more of these radishes.
