Bush, 60 days. Yellow pods are produced abundantly on compact plants. The pods are very flat and richly flavored. A Polish variety that is especially good for freezing.

Review:

I grew 8 different varieties of bush beans this year (galopka, dragon tongue, landreth's stringless, arikara yellow, contender, top crop, blue lake 274, and royal burgundy). the Galopka beans were my favorite by far. It was the favorite for my family taste wise. It was the earliest to produce at 42 days from germination to harvest. Each plant produced lots of beans for such a compact plant, and it continued to produce for multiple harvest. As an added bonus it's really easy to find and pick these beans since they're yellow and stand out against the leaves. These are a new staple in my garden and I highly recommend these beans to everyone.

What are the pros? Tasty and prolific!

Review:

This bean will give you loads of easy to see light yellow beans all season long. The pods are very tasty, tender, almost buttery when cooked (but a little butter really makes them outstanding). They do develop strings if you let them get bigger than 6-7" but you're asking for it at that point. They grow very quickly. In the early season, I was picking them every other day, if not daily. Now it's every 3 to 4 days as it's slowing down a bit, after a good month of picking; but I'm noticing new blossoms, so it'll be game on again soon! Love this bean! It has out produced all the other beans in my garden!
