(Ricinus communis) Castor Beans were introduced in the 16th century. We offer a mix of reds, pinks, greens, and burgundy. Tall, 8-12-foot plants are tropical looking, have colored flower pods, and are easy to grow. Warning: the seeds and plants are very poisonous.

What are the pros? Rid me of moles & voles
What are the cons? cant think of any
I buy these castor beans to rid my yard of moles and voles and gophers. I do not have kids to worry about. They keep my yard from sinking due to the moles, voles & gophers.

What are the pros? Gets rid of Moles & Voles
What are the cons? Cant think of any
The castor beans are poisonous.I do not have kids to worry about but I do have moles and voles and gophers and this plant will run them out of your yard. This is a way to get rif of them without loading my yard with chemicals.

What are the pros? great price, high toxicity
What are the cons? flu-like symptoms
High quality, easy to..."cultivate". Very similar to Lily of the Valley, but much more successful.
