What are the pros? golf ball size or bigger,

What are the cons? none

Review:

Planted these in early part of march, direct seed. started harvesting on the 10th of May. Some grew faster than others but all around good flavor, a little spicy at times but mainly mild. no pesticides were used and didn't have any problems with insects. some matured larger than others.

What are the pros? Mild flavor, lack of woodiness

What are the cons? Not good as a spring radish.

Review:

This was a failure when spring planted (April 22) here in south central Wisconsin; bulbs were small and pithy and many plants did not produce any. However when planted as a Fall radish (August 8) they performed very well. Shapes were irregular, some round and some elongated and most were very large. Many were the size of a tennis ball. Skins were uniformly dark red with white interiors, good flavor and not pithy or woody even when large. Flavor is crisp and mild.

What are the pros? Very tasty

What are the cons? Doesn't tollerate the heat

Review:

The German radish is an excellent radish for the winter garden. It is cold enough long enough to allow the radish to reach its complete size. Once it starts heating up in May it won't make it to its maximum size. However, it will do great from October until March/April.

Review:

We grew these at our new school garden. They were really easy to grow and produced large, juicy, dark pink radishes. My students loved them!
