What are the pros? Outstanding Sauerkraut Cabbage
What are the cons? None other than moose love'm
Well being from the land of Giant Cabbage we had that base covered. Always looking for a good kraut cabbage an I'll have to say that this has to be one of my all-time favorites. You can't go wrong with this cabbage. That being said, this season will go down in the books as one of the best for Cole crops. We trans-planted 57 plants that we started from seed inside, and they all have grown exceptionally well! Get this, the average size of the heads would have to compare with a basketball! Harvested one a few days ago as a sample and will be harvesting the rest in about a week. Wish I could post a pic or two but oh well, if you are looking for a reliable variety look no further!

What are the pros? bug resistant, large heads
What are the cons? none
Started these indoors and transplanted around the 1st of June here in zone 4, when they were about 2 inches tall. We had a hot dry summer, and I was terrible at keeping up with the watering. Then, in the fall, when it got wet and cold, these really got big! And they didn't crack like so many others I have gotten from nurseries! These also didn't seem bothered by bugs, and were beautiful. If you want a beautiful fair cabbage, then these are for you. I didn't get around to it this year, but I imagine they would make great saurkraut as the description says. They are very sweet and buttery cabbages that are very low maintenance!

What are the pros? Easy germination
I germinated inside with a heat mat. All of my seeds have turned into hardy little seedlings! They are straight and not leggy at all. So excited to get these into the garden. Sprouted quickly within a day or two. I will give an update when I harvest.

What are the pros? Large, perfecty formed.
This was my first year growing cabbage. I had 8 plants which all grew perfectly and varied in size from 9.5 to 13 pounds. I was very pleased and will definitely plant this type again!

What are the pros? good production, firm, crisp
What are the cons? Does not ferment itself
Second the reviewer who said it makes excellent sauerkraut. It also hung in there well. I had a few heads go all summer without splitting or bolting. Made kraut from spring cabbage in the fall. Not bad for zone 5
