What are the pros? Tall and beautiful stalks

What are the cons? Tough and irregular kernals

Review:

I really looked forward to great sweet corn after reading the reviews. We were careful to plant 75 seeds in blocks using the correct distance, added nitogen but not too much, watered as much as we could because the weather was dry. The corn grew beautifully, 12' tall. Each stalk had two ears but the kernals didn't develop well and there weren't any that was tender and sweet. Maybe I did something wrong. We did do 3 sisters with beans and squash. It has been 50 years since I grew corn but I will try a different seed next year.

Review:

Great producing corn with wonderful flavor! Had several heavy rains and widstorms, knocking the corn over a few times early on. But, it stood back up and grew strong. Would definitely recommend this!

Planted in early march, harvested in late June. This corn did exceptionally well in our 115 degree summer heat. It Grew talk and had a great yield.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, delicious!

Review:

For my first time growing corn, I decided to try this variety, and I'm so glad I did. It was hardy and vigorous all through the drought in my area. Never even flinched in temps over 100, when almost everything else scalded and died. I kept the corn well watered via a soaker hose, and every couple of weeks I fed it with a mild fish emulsion solution. I was rewarded with a large harvest of big, full ears of corn in the late summer. I never had any problems with bugs or diseases. This corn is not a super sweet "dessert" variety, but it's sweet enough to not be bitter. It has a delicious, rich flavor. To tell when an ear should be picked, pierce a few kernels - if the juice inside is milky and watery, it's just right.
