What are the pros? prolific and taste
What are the cons? none
We LOVE this tomato, surprisingly it was the first to put on fruit and the second to ripen. The taste is incredible, truly one of our favorites. This will always have a place in our garden, rivals brandywine in flavor. We had so many that in addition to eating I made a batch of yellow tomato honey butter and yellow tomato basil jam. Production has slowed down in the June Texas heat and fighting blight, but well worth it for this gem!

What are the pros? flavorful
This tomato is the best tasting in my garden this year. It has a citrus tangy flavor to it. Also very productive.

I grew these in the Sacramento area last summer. It was a slow start to the season for all varieties, since we had a cool start to the summer. It ripened in mid August and September. Golden Monarch was the most beautiful large yellow tomato. Clear light yellow flesh made pretty slices. Healthy plant, no blemishes. Good taste. I'm growing these again this summer.

Reasonable vigor. High yielding even in Texas heat. Apparent disease tolerance. Six to 12 oz. fruit with strongly ribbed boat shapes. Exerted and flattened, wide stigma. Sparse foliage. Flavor is exceptional with full, strong, tart tomato flavors and long lingering aftertaste.
