78 days. (indeterminate) First introduced in 1882 by the Livingston Seed Co. The oblate fruits of deep gold are sizable and free from blemishes. Superb flavor, with a bit more tartness than expected. Listed in the Slow Food USA's Ark of Taste.

What are the pros? Flavor is outstanding

What are the cons? None

Review:

I received this as a gift with my order. From the begininning they were very sturdy, hardy plants. We were growing four other types of tomatoes,so the comparisons were obvious. The plants continued to be healthy and stout. Then we tasted them !! We will grow these for the rest of our lives!!! The flavor is wonderful with a less acidic background.Fruits are smooth and uniform in size. The entire family(6) agreed that this is the best yellow tomato we have ever tasted.

What are the pros? mass production!

What are the cons? none!

Review:

I have raised many yellows in the past, with good results. But this little yellow surpasses them all in flavor, yield, and strength. We suffered through the drought of "012" here in NW Ohio. This beauty was not affected at all. also had cut worm problems early on , but they didn't bother these plants. Might of been a coincidence. We harvested so many fruits off of 3 plants that we made juice. The yellow juice is fantastic! Drink a cool pint with your meal and not have to worry about acid stomach problems latter. What a wonderful gift of seeds!
