Bush, 55 days. Delicious golden-yellow pods are stringless and are of good quality with extra-fine rich flavor. This old-time favorite has bush plants.

What are the pros? Simple to grow easy picking

What are the cons? deer like them too

Review:

The best bean for fresh eating and store very well in refrigerator for up to a week and a half! Beans keep producing if you feed (5-5-15 ) and pick regularly once blooming begins. I will be growing these again and again...this was my 3rd year, usually a pole bean fan, these are worth stooping to pick.. 2ft tall trellising helps, as these are big plants and get they heavy with beans.

What are the pros? Flavor...no strings

What are the cons? Germination

Review:

This was my first time growing beans and these did fairly well. The flavor was very good. The plants stayed "bushy" (no runners). The only negative thing I had was that a second planting did not get much germination. I made a second planting of Blue Lake Bush Beans at the same time, and those all sprouted.

What are the pros? .

What are the cons? Seed not true to variety

Review:

My first time to plant these(and probably my last) and am not happy with the results. About three fourths of the beans are flat green beans while the others are golden or golden/green in color. Not at all what I expected!

What are the pros? Easy to grown even in TX heat

What are the cons? None

Review:

I live in zone 8a, NE Texas. Planted this late this year in mid April due to weather, planted 10 rows about 16 feet long, as of today June 10th have picked over 10 gallons of beans, still a lot more to go. Would highly recommend this bean. Now its time for the canning to start.
