This little striped jewel is loaded with sublime sweetness & taste. A perfect addition to salads, salsas and even desserts! The small fruit have lovely light green flesh. Plants are quite productive over a long season. A new favorite at our farm.

What are the pros? Tastes decent

What are the cons? Everything else

Review:

It is almost impossible to tell when this tomato is ripe. The skin is very thick so trying to tell by feel isn't easy either. I got these for free and I am not a fan. They are very productive and vigorous, probably the tallest tomato in my garden right now and still going. But I don't like them.

What are the pros? Easy to Grow

What are the cons? Nothing

Review:

I got these as my free seeds with my order. I hadn't intended to grow tomato from seed this year, but I filled a couple four cell packs with these. I think every seed sprouted! And since I can't thin plants without guilt, I transplanted every one. So I ended up with about twenty vigorous tomato plants that I jammed everywhere. We had a cool, rainy spring and early summer, but these guys persevered. They've outperformed all the tomatoes I got as starts from other sources. Only a few tomatoes have ripened, but they tasted decent to me. It can be hard to tell when these green machines are ripe - I've been picking them when they are just the tiniest bit yellowy red and a tiny bit softer than their unripe friends. These tomatoes have inspired me to grow all my tomatoes from seed from now on. And where will I get the seeds? Shoplifting! No, Baker Creek of course.

I ended up on this website as a Google result. I wanted to know how to tell when the tomato was ripe. Someone had already explained that they yellow slightly. Haven't tasted yet.

What are the pros? taste, color

What are the cons? none

Review:

great germination and plants grew very well, over 6 ft tall. Excellent production of golf ball size fruit. Good taste. Requires a closer inspection to see if they're ripe. They take on a very slightly yellowish hue and feel squishier when ready to pick.
