What are the pros? Everything
What are the cons? None
We have grown this variety for the past four seasons and it has been a reliable producer. If you live in the south, this is the one for you. It resists splitting when it rains after a dry spell and handles cutworm attacks well. The cabbage also handles the topsy-turvy highs and lows of our southern springs and autumns. After all that, its delicious to! The standard Early Jersey Wakefield performs just as well.

I grew this variety over the winter (Pensacola, FL) and it did well. The cabbage was very tasty and almost sweet. The heads were a little smaller than advertised, only about 2 to 3 pounds but I think it was because I had them planted a little too close together. I plan to plant it again this fall.
