What are the pros? pretty if it grows

What are the cons? didn't come with instructions

Review:

I bought these seeds the first year they were offered so it didn't have germination tips etc. I couldn't get any to germinate. I planted them in spring in seed-starting trays etc. I believe it did not work because I was just guessing about what I should do. There wasn't any info on the internet that I could find either...until this year. I found out that it is best germinated by spreading seed on the soil in fall. Hope that helps!

What are the pros? none

What are the cons? found these hard to grow

Review:

The seeds are minuscule! I planted in a number of containers. They sprouted best in a terrarium I made out of a 2 litre soda bottle. They grew very slowly on a windowsill then toppled and died. I had no luck with these seeds. I started others in egg crates and they did ok for a while but died also.

What are the pros? Beautiful Bush

What are the cons? Invasive Plant

Review:

Plant is very easy to grow, however, it is aggressive and is an invasive species in Seattle. Seeds are spread liberally by hungry birds and new plants can shoot up all over your yard and your neighbor's. Even though it is a beautiful plant and the flowers and berries hang down like a fuchsia, but I'd think twice before planting seed in zone 8. Note: All plants in my yard have been destroyed.

What are the pros? Easily Grown

What are the cons? None so far!

Review:

This plant is beautiful when it first sprouts and is pretty small, as the seeds are also of minuscule size. These are easy to grow -- I live in zone 7b but planted them inside an empty egg carton inside my house. They just sprouted and are doing well, but it takes about 3 weeks to a month to sprout. If you're a hardcore gardener there's probably some mulch or special soil you can use, but I just used regular potting soil. I can't wait to watch these little seedlings grow!
