Review:

I absolutely love growing these peas. They color is amazing. I used these in the spring and again right before summer (mid to late summer harvest.)The peas took a little longer that I figured to mature but when they start they are prolific. We had an unusually wet spring and summer in 2012 so weather may have played a part in the delay. Everyone loves the color and because we grow so many types at my house ... it is a delight sometimes when we shell them to see what peas we are opening up. Usually at the end of the harvest we are grabbing handfuls of each pea and they shell them all together so it is a medley of colors. The plants are not as prolific as brown crowders and others but the pods are plentiful and grow well. If for only the novelty grow these and share the joy! Love this line of cowpeas!
