(C. pepo) 95 days One of the sweetest squash varieties in existence. Oblong, Delicata-shaped squash have tan skin with green stripes. Excellent quality and produces early. Developed by Dr. James Baggett, Oregon State University.

What are the pros? Taste, size and colour

Review:

This lovely little squash managed to not only survive our worst summer in Ireland but to produce a number of well mature fruit. Love the taste and texture of the flesh. Had a bit of trouble telling it apart from Delicata until it ripened but they both grew well.

What are the pros? unique taste

What are the cons? average germination

Review:

We grew this variety for a couple years on our farm and it was an easy seller. Squash fanatics would return to buy a bushel! Quite different sweet very nutty flavour that can really grow on you. I love regular delicata as well, but out of 15 different varieties of squash, this is one of my favourite. Also is a good keeper.

Review:

We grew these in a food shelf donation garden and they were very productive. They were attacked by many squash bugs and survived! Sweet and smooth flesh, highly recommend.

Review:

We grew these and the real thing, Delicata, one year. The Honeyboat Delicata was bread so that they have a yellower skin. Great for market cause it looks ripe. Don't be fooled. The true delicata tastes better. Why get the imitation as they ripen truly at the same rate.
