Baker Creek is looking for interns for summer 2015! Farming, gardening,cooking and seed saving will be the main focus of this internship. The program will begin the last week of May 2015 and run through the summer. A wonderful opportunity to spend a summer in the beautiful Ozarks getting hands on experience in an incredibly rewarding and fascinating field. This is a position for the enthusiastic and passionate young student who would like to gain experience in the horticulture field. Although this is an unpaid internship, compensation will include free housing and meals, participation may be eligible for college credit. This will be an amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in crop diversity, seed saving and natural farming industry; expect to learn about farming, landscaping, growing rare and unusual varieties, Integrated Pest Management, greenhouses and more.
