What are the pros? Huge size, mild buttery flavor

What are the cons? Nothing comes to mind.

Review:

Huge size! Each one of these onions hit the 2ft mark and beyond. Started indoors in late winter and transplanted into raised beds (half composted cow manure/half topsoil.) Only fertilized once w/ Organic fertilizer early in the season. Wonderful in stir fry, soup, and scrambled (duck) eggs. A new staple for my garden. Thanks, Baker Creek!

What are the pros? Nice and soft

What are the cons? Longer lasting "onion breath"

Review:

These are bunching onions! I started seeds in February but I planted too many seeds per container and had some extra work dividing the tangled roots. I was late transplanting them in to the garden but still they pulled through. Got some pretty big ones, but none as big as leeks yet. They are bunching now in September. Taste is pretty good, a bit sharper than spring onions but not so hot. I guess it depends on the soil and watering too. Used it for stir fry and in salads.I noticed a bit longer lasting "onion breath" but it could be just me. I will grow it next year too!
