85 days. A small Japanese type watermelon. 6-12 lb ice-box-sized fruit have crisp, cream-colored flesh, and an excellent refreshing taste with mild flavor. Best tasting cream-fleshed watermelon at Washington State University trials. Enjoyed by some with lime and salt, but I like them plain, straight from the patch! Productive and fairly early.

What are the pros? Yummy!

What are the cons? Too small, want more!

Review:

These are really good. We are horrible at growing melons. I've only grown 1 single melon. Ever. So we were very surprised that the couple plants I put in gave us at least 6 melons. They were somewhat small but that's the variety. Family gathered together and ate the first one together and it was amazing! Before we cut it we tapped it and it sounded like tapping on a water balloon. Cutting the melon open it split on it's own. Every bite had juice not just dripping, but pouring. Crisp, sweet, and has it's own unique flavor. Reminded me a bit of cucumber but not really. We LOVED it and have been fighting over the few remaining. I'm just not going to tell the rest of the family when I pick the next ones :) Will DEF plant again next year and super excited to try more new varieties!
