65-70 days. This regular leaf tomato grows fairly stocky and not as tall as most indeterminate varieties. Flattened beefsteak fruit are pink-brown with metallic green stripes and weigh 8-12 ounces. Very meaty pink flesh is very flavorful. Select seed, grown by Brad.

What are the cons? non

Review:

These are short stocky plants but you really need to Support these well! Mine produced so much fruit and these things are big!! Any way mine fell over and so I will be supporting with wood frames this year. I thought their flavor and textures was like a tart brandywine. They Were really fun to dehydrate too since they had some crazy colors going on.

What are the pros? Pretty, tasty

What are the cons? CRACKS

Review:

I grew 2 kinds of tomatoes in 5-gallon buckets this year. I grew 2 of this variety. They grew moderate to small fruit on sparse plants. I only got enough viable fruit from 2 plants to make 1 pint of sauce! At the beginning of the year, I had about 100 blossoms that didn't turn into fruit, just fell right off. Then, I had blossom end rot, then wilt...fertilizing and watering throughout! When I finally got some fruit, they cracked so bad that I could go outside to water them and they would literally be dripping every morning. I ended up with a lot of tomatoes in my compost, I can tell you that much. I might try these again next year in 10-gallon buckets, since I still have so many seeds, to see if they like that better...

What are the pros? taste and appearance

What are the cons? a little bit of cracking

Review:

I love this tomato. It's one of my favorites when it comes to size, appearance, and taste. If allowed to fully ripen, the fruit is meaty and the color is a beautiful deep red inside when cut open. The exterior has unique 2 toned striping. If allowed to ripen properly, the taste is rich and delicious.
