Dwarf charmer reaches only 12": ideal for the front of the bed or border! Single flowers of clear sunny gold with clean lines present a very neat appearance, accentuated by the restrained brown to maroon blotch that embellishes each ray petal near the flowers' centers. Introduced about 150 years ago. Different and very pretty!

I love these marigolds! They are very easy to grow and maintain. They are perfect for my little square foot garden. The flowers are beautiful. I will definitely grow them again next year.

What are the pros? Beautiful, strong stems

What are the cons? Dislikes heat

Review:

Exceptional marigold, dense growth, strong stems. Does best here spring and fall, survived several frosts and still blooming strong going into December. Seemed to go almost dormant in the 100 -114F heat over the past summer, but if your summers are less harsh, then this should do very well. Gophers avoided fruit trees I planted marigolds around.

Review:

I wanted to buy some marigolds to put around my garden this year, but I wanted some variety that would add splashes of uniqueness too. So I decided to buy the legion of honor variety along with the brocade marigolds. They germinated in about 3-5 days, were easy to maintain and look even more beautiful than the picture above! They are all blooming now and I planted them around the 28th of February and grew them all indoors under lights. They are absolutely stunning and I'm excited to transplant them outside this week! Definitely a clean cut eye-catching beauty. One of my favorite things about this variety is that all of the leaves and stems have the maroon accent in speckles all over, which is even more unique!!
