What are the pros? Cool, tasty fruit

What are the cons? Low yield, wicked thorns

Review:

The pretty white flowers gave way, in my garden, to seedy fruit with a refreshing cucumber/watermelon taste. They make a wonderful little snack while gardening, but with two plants now hitting three feet each, I'm lucky to get two thimble-sized berries at the same time. The thorns are formidable and cover even the leaves that cup the pendant berries, but they actually help you to harvest at the right time. The berry is ripe when the top leaves pull back and you can safely pluck it. The fruit is seedy, but the seeds have (to my taste) a reasonably pleasant crunch. I think I will grow it again, as the flavor is delightful.
