60 days. Very curled leaves are light green with stunning bright red edges. Mild and tasty. A most beautiful lettuce, superb for market.

What are the pros? beautiful and tasty

What are the cons? None

Review:

This lettuce was one of the first things I ordered from Baker Creek several years ago, and I've been growing it ever since. I always get excellent germination. Used to live in southwest Virginia, now living in east Tennessee, and it has done well in both climates. Pretty to look at, tasty, and always performs well, even when my other varieties don't.

What are the pros? Beautiful, taste, good growth

What are the cons? low germination

Review:

Planted in outdoor aquaponic system mid Oct. Under coldframe, low has reached 0, avg 30-40F days and 20-30F nights. Lettuce has shown good growth and lovely color, more burgundy than red. Germination 50%. Picking by mid December, cut and come again. Great taste. Will def keep planting!

The lettuce is gorgeous and grew in both a container and direct in the garden. I would definitely plant it again!

Review:

Germination on this variety has been hit and miss for us here in zone 7 North Carolina. The plants that did grow were tasty and looked nice mixed in with other types of lettuce in salads.
