What are the pros? grew well in a container
What are the cons? none
I received some of these seeds in a swap at the local botanical garden this spring and hoped for a few pods to make my husband and daughter some gumbo. We had no idea we would get more okra than we could handle. In a 5 gallon bucket, each plant grew over 7 feet tall and gave us about 30 huge pods. Most of the plant died back and I thought it was done (which was fine, I've got plenty in the freezer) so I cut 1 down and forgot about the stump for a week. There are 2 strong side stems growing off the stump now and we even have a few buds starting to show. I can't wait to see what they can do before frost shows in January!

What are the pros? Size of the Pods
What are the cons? Had to replant twice
After having to replant some areas twice, I ended up with some very good plants. They were heavy producers. I had a lot of customers telling me how great they were. I had to past out a sheet telling people about this Okra as they had never saw anything like it and were suspect of it until I talked them into trying it.

What are the pros? lots of branches
What are the cons? Hard to get out stump!
Planted with goat manure, they grew past 7 ft. Lots of branches each reblooming multiple times. Ate them at 6 to7 inches. Prolific and yummy. Tree size does require regular watering.
