What are the pros? visual appeal
What are the cons? cracking
I'm used to identifying when green-colored tomatoes are ripe, but for some reason I had trouble judging these. I'd pick them too green. It seemed like they took a long time to ripen - when fully ripe they tasted good. But if there was anything like a heavy rain they would crack, so although they set plenty of fruit I got very few. The skin isn't thin.
They are very pretty.
