What are the pros? Easy to grow

What are the cons? none

Review:

I started these late this year, didnt get em in the ground til first of june. Grew really fast, teeny tiny heads just starting to form. The cabbage looper passes these plants by, no bugs no slugs, just perfect plants.

What are the pros? nice big outer leaves

What are the cons? couldn't keep the bugs away

Review:

I planted this in the spring and while the outer leaves got very big, they were attacked by bugs and I wasn't able to get heads. I will try again in the fall.

Excelent. Good germinations rate. Diferent (light then the commercial one's) and beaufifull color. Excelent flavour. Easy to grow :)

What are the pros? Tasty, heat tollerant

What are the cons? Slow to mature

Review:

This is the only cabbage I grow any more. I live on the edge of the desert where we have very warm days and freezing nights all winter. All other cabbages that I have tried either bolt or rot in the difficult conditions. I plant in early fall and grow this as an over winter crop in the mild conditions. Perfect for slaws and a beautiful plant. They also seem to resist earwigs better than other varieties that I have tried.

What are the pros? Great Color and Flavor

What are the cons? None

Review:

Grew this is a far northern garden with great results. I did start them indoors/greenhouse in April but all transplanted well and were excellent at maturity. A couple were enormous! Loved these cut in chunks and placed in the crock pot with corned beef.
