Bush, 55 days. The name translates to “Marvel of Venice” and this stringless sort is certainly that! The pods are yellow, wax type but are wide and fl at like Romas. The combination opens exciting new opportunities in the kitchen! Highly recommended for bean salads, especially those recipes using Modeno balsamic vinegar. Very elegant and unusual.

What are the pros? hot weather

What are the cons? didnt notice any dislikes

Review:

These delicious and beautifully flowering beans flourished here, even in our 3 day 110 heat wave here. Wonderful with tarragon and olive oil and also in tomato sauce with pasta.

What are the pros? Grows quickly

What are the cons? needs a lot of water

Review:

I didn't have the best growing conditions this year and while these plants did produce some beans they were very small and they didn't have much flavor. I don't think I will grow it again.

What are the pros? Easy to grow; taste good

What are the cons? None

Review:

Small vines. They twined up 2 foot bamboo stakes. Pretty pink flowers. Taste was very good. I especially liked them lightly blanched or stir-fried. They didn't mind the heat and humidity much though they were not super productive here. But, what I got was good. Companion-planted with eggplant.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, pretty, tasty

What are the cons? None

Review:

These were my first beans to mature and are super productive. I am harvesting almost daily and getting a ton of beans. Lovely flowers followed by beautiful pale yellow beans. We have bean eating most of them raw in salads, they're so pretty. My son is already planning to grow more of them next year in his own garden patch, as am I. Great.
