50 days. White-skinned, black-spined little pickling cukes. Production is high and begins very early on almost-bush plants that seldom run over three feet making great container plants. Delicious for fresh use as well—this strain has none of the bitterness that has unfortunately come to be associated with the white-fruited types.

I grow these little gems every year, sometimes I have some sprawling on the shelf inside during the winter for kids to snack on.They are small but they come as a welcome change during our long winter, and kids love them skin and all, we just wash them and they are gone, my favorite cucumber ever I love it's sweetness.

What are the pros? Easy to grow

What are the cons? Nothing

Review:

Perfect snaking cucumber. Never need peeled. Perfect size for pickles if you manage to plant enough so the family doesn't eat them all fresh from the garden. Incredibly productive and the BEES LOVE the countless little yellow blossoms. The rest of my garden has benefited from having these planted. I'll be planting these every year.

What are the cons? spiny, have to harvest quickly

Review:

Summer 2016 was going to be my last attempt to grow cucumbers. I'd started to develop a hate relationship with them UNTIL this variety. I am absolutely in love with these babies and will never switch to another variety again. They are classified as pickling but they are delicious snacking cucumbers, straight out of the garden. Skin is not as thick as some pickling varieties and the flavor has a sweetness to it. Amazing. Easy to grow.

What are the pros? Small vine, high production

What are the cons? None

Review:

These are my favorite cucumbers! They grow well in containers, and the short vines makes that feasible. Plus, they don't get bitter if left on the vine too long or not watered well. And the skin is really thin compared to other cukes, so I never peel them.
