What are the pros? Flavor color
What are the cons? none
Put in for last fall, didn't get very big. Probably because dirt to hard packed. Was tilling up this weekend for spring and found two gorgeous left overs a little smaller then a golf ball. Green outside and white to red inside with great mild flavor. Will definitely put in again this year.

The color of the skin and flesh was quite variably, with about 2/3 of the radishes having green skin, color inside ranging from nearly white to bright red. Much bigger tops than more typical radishes, so plan on thinning well and giving them more space. They are exceptionally beautiful on salads and taste AWESOME roasted in the oven with other fall root vegetables. We are in North Mississippi, zone 7a. While the description says they are mild, we found ours to be quite hot.

I tried this first at a local coop, and loved it so much that I ordered a pack for fall planting this year. While most of the plants never got very big (probably my fault, not good at thinning yet), and they didn't get very red in the middle (more white than colored, I was surprised), they had a superb mild but flavorful taste that made them a favorite in salads and for snacking among my entire family.
