What are the pros? tall, fast growing, striking
What are the cons? none
I grew these in 2016 in Toledo, Ohio. I planted them in large pots super early in the spring. I put about eight seeds per pot. Excellent germination. They sprout in about two weeks, grow slowly but surely until the weather warms. They grew fast and tall, need support of some kind. I used tomato cages. The color is really beautiful, a bold, deep color, just as pictured. They need something to lean against in order to grow straight up. I must have them again every year. The best thing about sweet peas is they are early, giving an opportunity to get out in the garden early and enjoy. These bloomed until the end of august, just kept growing taller with more blooms at the top.
