60 days. Very tender, dual-purpose variety makes great pickles and is excellent for fresh eating right out of the garden! Nearly spineless fruits are 6 to 8 inches long, reaching a plump 3 inches wide. Produces abundantly on strong vigorous vines. Non-bitter, burpless variety, can be eaten at any stage of growth. For pickling, harvest the fruits at 4 to 6 inches long.

Review:

This cuke has lived up to the hype and positive prior comments. I'm not wild about cukes, and this is only my second time trying to grow them in general. I do like pickles, and these have been good in dill and sweet pickle recipes, as well as salads. They have a gentle flavor and texture. I planted six in a raised bed with trellising and they are going crazy. They do like to ramble, and need help going up vs. out in all directions. Very easy to grow, sets many fruits.

What are the pros? Hardy, high yield, beautiful

What are the cons? No dislikes

Review:

This is my new favorite cucumber! Shiny, dark green, smooth, crunchy, sweet. I can't think of anything I didn't like about this variety except for the fact that I never got a chance to pickle any (always the first variety I grabbed for eating). I gave a few plants to friends, and everyone raved about them.

I was so surprised by this one. Good flavor, VERY crunchy and crisp, very productive. I carried them around in my purse all summer for snacking on. Mom's green candy bars!

What are the pros? Easy to grow, great flavor!

What are the cons? none

Review:

This is an all-around awesome cuke! It has a permanent place in my garden line up. It is not bitter, and is great for slicing and pickling. Plus, no spines! I would definitely recommend this cuke. We tried four different varieties last year, and this was by far our favorite, so I'm only planting this variety this year.
