85 days. Thick light green to striped rind; medium pink to red crisp, sweet flesh. Fruits have been known to keep for up to four months. Expect unusual drought tolerance from this eminent variety from the American Southwest.

Great sweet flavor! I love the white rind on THIS melon, unlike others. Great keeper, I am just starting to eat these in december. I have grown many types of melons and this one stands out!

What are the pros? Very easy to grow

What are the cons? it gets mold on the rind

Review:

Did very well in my garden this summer. This is not an early melon by any means so plant with that in mind. it does spread far and wide in the garden too so if you have a small plot for it, you might need to let it grow outside the garden. Flavor was very good. I have some in my kitchen now and am seeing how long I can keep this melon before it goes bad :D

Review:

This is the first year for garden at this location, in poor soil. These little melons are the perfect size for one person. They are the only melon that did well this year. I definitely plan to plant them again next year. I love the sweet, crisp, juicy flesh in this watermelon!
