What are the pros? none yet

What are the cons? poor, spotty germination rates

Review:

This is just a preliminary review as the onions are still just seedlings, but compared to the Yellow of Parma onions that I ordered and planted on the same day, these don't seem to hold up. First their germination was incredibly spotty, and not very high (out of ~220 seeds planted I got maybe 65 to sprout after two weeks (nearly all the YoP, around 250, sprouted and within the first week). These also seem to far more fragile, slower, and not as strong growing as other onions I have grown. I think I will be trying a different type of red onion next season. I will follow up after the season to see how their overall performance was, but, it doesn't look promising.

Review:

Excellent full-bodied onion flavour. Beautiful colour. Performed really well for me in New Brunswick during a very wet and cooler than usual season -as well as abuse/neglect on my part. Dries and stores very well. Will order again.
