What are the pros? productive, ornamental

What are the cons? poor germination outdoor

Review:

wonderfully large plants, very productive, produced second crop after initial harvest= loads of seeds! of all the seed sown only 5 plants germinated into harvestable crops, will sow indoors next year and try transplant as well as sowing outdoors.

I was amazed at how large and plentiful the seed heads are on this variety. It is also very attractive in the garden.

Review:

I wanted to let you know I just cleaned 3/4 lb. of seed that resulted from the seed heads of one packet of your Giant Orange Amaranth that I planted last year. Granted, I did it the old fashioned way -- winnowing -- and the finches probably got at least that much while the plants were up, so I'm sure I missed a few seeds in the process. This is a super high yielding plant and a lovely addition to the garden. The rabbits liked the greens too! Thanks for such good results.
