Here is an extra-dwarf pomegranate that's perfect for containers. Early-flowering plants are good for bonsai. Small, ornamental fruit. Will take light frosts, but should be grown indoors in cool climates

What are the cons? none to speak of

Review:

I started these in my greenhouse in early fall but had to move inside for Colorado winter. They set fruit about five months after planting. They are currently indoors in less than adequate light, but still doing alright. Four out of five are doing well, they produce these really cute little pomegranates and they have pretty orangish flowers. I am anxious to move them outside in the coming summer to see how they do.

Review:

I had one of these when we lived in Santa Monica. Very pretty and ornamental. Nice little conversation piece. Unfortunately, I can't grow one outside in Massachusetts (too cold) so I may get one to grow indoors if I thought my cats would leave it alone!! :D

Review:

I didnt have much growth the first year.....only one plant of the five I planted survived. I thought it would die the first year but I put it into a big planter and brought it in the garage...when spring came around I drug it back out into the sun and wow....it came back and got pretty big...I have it back in my garage for the winter and so far its doing fine. Pretty flowers, tiny ornamental fruit...makes a nice looking bush if you do not do bonsai.
