Large, thick, 4-5" pods are superbly tender and delicious. This is my favorite snow pea. Bush plants are high yielding and stay compact. Developed by Dr. James Baggett, of Oregon State University. A winner

What are the pros? Reliable

What are the cons? Not really any

Review:

Nice snow pea. It is my go to variety. Always look forward to the early spring planting and them peaking out of the late spring snow at me. I worry about frost damage, but they do fine. They accept different soil conditions and do alright in clay. They require a short trellis and keep well for a snow pea. We eat them mostly right away anyway. Good yields. There may be some strings if you let them get large, but they are easily removed. Sweet crunchy variety.

Review:

A not very tall cultivar, very easy to tie up and work with. The seed germination rate is high. As its name saying, sweet pod. Pretty productive. My mom's favorite. Will buy again.

Review:

They taste very good and are easy to grow. My largest one was about 4 inches long. One thing is that they like lots of water.

Review:

I grew these spring 2013. They were great. Came up fast and took off. Grew them on tripod stands and it looked like Christmas trees and the peas were the decorations. I had no bug issues and the plants were loaded with giant pea pods. They tasted great. Filled my freezer with peas. Definitely growing them next year.
