Winter Squash

Palav Kadu Squash

(C. moschata) 125 days. Very old central Asian variety, almost unknown to the rest of the world. The fruits reach to about 3-4 lbs. Starts out green with cream colored spots, which turn a dull buff-orange as the fruits mature. In the Tajik language, the name means “squash for pilav,” a well-known dish from Central Asia. Superb flavor, excellent keeper!
