What are the pros? Keeps really well refrigerated

What are the cons? None

Review:

It germinated quickly for parsley. We sowed in soil-block to avoid transplanting choc and kept the whole tray outside, under the patio table to protect the emerging seedlings from frequent heavy rain and storms. We transplanted in a newly created bed, in heavy clay with no amendment, beside He Shi Ko bunching onions. To our suprise, it grew happily and profusely. Great yield. Low-maintenance. It has large solid leaves and a rich parsley taste. We kept 5 or 6 stalks after we used the leaves once and added them to a huge stock pot. It was not necessary to add fresh leaves in soups made out of that stock. It was aromatic enough as is. After harvesting in the morning. it kept for a month in the fridge crisper, rinsed and wrapped, still wet in paper towel then stuffed in a freezer bag. It might have lasted longer but we finaly got to using it all. We harvested until it got well covered with snow a week before Christmas.

What are the pros? nice looking but.....

What are the cons? too pungent

Review:

i love parsley because it goes with most foods but this parsley is a beautiful parsley but it's super bitter. i kept thinking i was making a mistake and eating the tops of other plants because it was so pungent, so i tasted it over and over- different plantings, newer leaves but they were all bitter and strong. i'll plant it at other times to see if it mellows out.

What are the pros? Heat tolerant, great flavor

What are the cons? Tricky to germinate

Review:

I cannot germinate parsley - or dill for that matter - in seed trays. I lay the seeds in a damp paper towel and then place the towel in a ziploc for about 1-2 weeks (on a bookshelf or the kitchen counter, out of direct light) and then transplant the sprouts to the trays. This variety has worked extremely well in my hot climate (plus our winters are so mild, it will last three seasons here). I planted my second round in May just as the first round was going to seed and it's still going despite hundred degree temperatures; it isn't as large as the spring plants, but it will fill out when the weather cools in November.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, yields, pretty

What are the cons? none

Review:

I walked around my yard and just threw these seeds around randomly and then neglected to care further. I'm pretty sure every single seed sprouted - these did exceptionally well in part shade areas. They grew huge and stayed green even under the snow, and were back up before my chives in the spring. I can't tell you how many pounds of this stuff I harvested this year - it was a LOT. I will grow this every year.

What are the pros? Everything!

What are the cons? Nothing!

Review:

This is the best Parsley ever. Hands down. So easy to grow. Never fails us. Lasts year round for us with a bit of mulch/leaves. We still have several groupings alive and well and it's the end of January! Very productive, very delicious. I highly recommend these!
