What are the cons? Tricky to germinate
I cannot germinate parsley - or dill for that matter - in seed trays. I lay the seeds in a damp paper towel and then place the towel in a ziploc for about 1-2 weeks (on a bookshelf or the kitchen counter, out of direct light) and then transplant the sprouts to the trays. This variety has worked extremely well in my hot climate (plus our winters are so mild, it will last three seasons here). I planted my second round in May just as the first round was going to seed and it's still going despite hundred degree temperatures; it isn't as large as the spring plants, but it will fill out when the weather cools in November.
