Truly unique, large pink fruit is ruffled like an accordion. Very attractive-- one of the most beautiful I have seen. Perfect for specialty markets, the cut slices are stunning. This tomato is semi-hollow, so it is excellent for stuffing; the flavor is sweet and mild.

What are the pros? Easy to grow

What are the cons? can't eat them all

Review:

Very easy to grow and beautiful to have in the garden. Very unique. Used as a slicing tomato for sandwiches and it was very good. The skin was thick on my crop, so sometimes just peeled it off. Great flavor.

Review:

I planted these in Ontario and they were by far the best tomatoes of the season. I think a few are still hanging on out side at the moment and it is Nov 1, several frosts have come and gone. I made lots of toasted tomato and cheese sandwiches with this type. Very meaty and flavorful. They don't age well which does cause the mealiness, but eat them fresh off the vine at lunch and it is a firm and robust. Will be back in my garden again next year.

though these tomatoes look really "crazy," they're mealiness and hollowness is off-putting to most. i suggest only growing a plant if you have a ton of space and just like growing things to look at.
