A beautiful round pink radish that has become hard to find. It is sweet and tasty. Popular at specialty markets, a must for all radish growers! Wonderful and unique.

What are the pros? Beautiful and easy to grow

What are the cons? I actually don't like radishes

Review:

I grow these for neighbors who like radishes. They LOVE them. They are a beautiful pink radish that is ready in 3-4 weeks. My 8 yr old granddaughter just planted some when school started and she is thrilled she can harvest next week and pass out to the neighbors. Great plant for kids because it gives them a quick turn around from planting to harvesting. We will try to pickle some to see if we might enjoy them on middle-eastern type sandwiches.

What are the pros? Grows in symmetrical globes

What are the cons? Rises out of the ground

Review:

These grew in a perfect globe my children recognize from the grocery store radishes. The color is a consistent beautiful pink. However we have expereinced these rising out of the soil as they grew. Not sure if it is the clay rich soil or the radish itself that caused that. We've loved these but they didn't germinate quite as well as the Mixed Radishes we got from Annie's Heirlooms.

What are the pros? Mild, prolific

What are the cons? None

Review:

We had fresh radishes all late spring and early summer until it got too hot. These were mild and crispy and matured quickly. We got two crops before it got too hot. Will try some more this fall.

What are the pros? germination rate, taste, looks

What are the cons? not great keepers

Review:

If you're a CSA owner or farmers market vendor, this is the radish you need. First off, fantastic germination rate. Secondly, ready for harvest like clockwork. Thirdly, THEY ARE GORGEOUS. The color in the pictures just don't capture the color. They're almost luminous. They're adorable picked as small salad radishes, and a showstopper grown bigger for roasting. The only thing that some would mark as a drawback (though not in my book) is that the product description of "sweet" is utterly bonkers vis a vis our experience. These are a HOT radish. Not a radish for the faint of heat. If you haven't already, give these workhorses a try. They're the only radish we'll ever plant again.

What are the pros? Nice flavor. Grows quickly.

What are the cons? No dislikes.

Review:

My hubby and I have never been a fan of hot, spicy radishes. But this one has won us both over. Just enough zippy taste to know it is a radish, nice crunch, and pretty in a bowl on the table or in a salad. I am ordering the bulk pack and plan to plant in the spring and then try a fall planting AS WE. I am thinking they will do quit nicely here in So GA.
