This pretty tomato comes from the Republic of Cameroon, in Western Africa. It produces 3-6 ounce fruit that are lightly ruffled and have a flattened shape. A very good producer that seems to have good disease resistance. This variety used to be very common in its native land, but is now rare since the introduction of hybrid varieties.

What are the pros? rich dark flavor when cooked

What are the cons? eating raw

Review:

Its the cutest little tomato so I hope you get a photo up soon. I grew them last summer. The ripened early and I was excited to taste , It was an awful disappointment. It was bitter with a dull texture. I thought I'd give cooking one a try and boom , magic. It was the best cooking tomato I ever tasted, better than Romas for sure. they have a rich dark super tomato flavor when cooked or dried. I have a few started this year, hoping they do well and I have enough to try a sauce. It seems like my little secret at this point but with that flavor profile they should catch on soon.

What are the pros? 100% germinated, strong plant

What are the cons? small fruit

Review:

This tomato made lots of fruit with only about 4 hours direct sun. I grew it between two buildings and made big healthy vines, with minimum care (cage and water). The fruit was only a little ruffly, and pretty, but mine only were 1 ounce sized. Had strong flavor, not sweet like cherry tomato. No pest problems. Fruit started ripening about 3 months. I'm happy with this plant under these conditions.

Review:

Houston, TX. I grew this for a spring crop in a raised bed. Very vigorous and produced an amazing amount of tomatoes in all sizes. No disease problems. It had no trouble with our extremely hot weather that we had early this year.
