85 days. Beautiful big, oval, pointed fruit with a fine sweet old time flavor! Popular with old timers, a good all-purpose variety.

What are the pros? meaty, less seeds,

What are the cons? a little slow to mature

Review:

It is a very good tasting table slicer. But I have grown few varieties, that might be a tad better on a blind test. It is the number one tasting fried green tomato-- on this planet. None will beat it in a blind taste test. PS-- I have grown over 50 varieties through the years. Its tops in frying

I love this tomato. It's very meaty and has a superalloys taste and ripens so well. Smooth skin. This is a super tomato!

What are the pros? Low acidity

What are the cons? None

Review:

Has a sweet, old time tomato flavor. My wife had tongue cancer last year, and has had problems finding a tomato with a low enough acidity that it wouldn't make her surgery scar hurt. This is the one.

Review:

Everyone in the county had a terrible tomato year, but these pink oxhearts prevailed. They were the only variety that produced for me, and they're tasty, too. Will plant more this year, too.
