75 Days. A large Jalapeno pepper that turns deep purple before maturing to red. Full Jalapeno flavor and heat; great for salsa and other Mexican foods. Plants both productive and ornamental.

What are the pros? Most seeds germinated

What are the cons? Small plant, small peppers

Review:

These are gorgeous peppers, very slow growing, thin and short. I stared these at the end of March it's now almost July they are 12" tall with just a few pods now. Can't wait to eat one. If your peppers aren't germinating, You need an incubator or heat pad. 80 to 85 F. takes about 21 days. Remember, water from the bottom.

What are the pros? Very reliable!

What are the cons? You have to add water. :-)

Review:

Every seed sprouted that I planted indoors in starter pots during the winter. Now they're in the garden and growing beautifully. Easy to grow. Very healthy plants with good sunshine and water.

What are the pros? Gorgeous colour, sturdy flesh

What are the cons? -

Review:

These grew very well in my greenhouse in Sweden. The plants set a lot of fruit which started out a gorgeous purple colour and then deepened to a lovely burgundy. However, I noticed that leaving them on the bush limited the yields somewhat, as flowers started dropping when I didn't harvest promptly. The taste was good: not particularly hot, with just a mild kick to it. Mine were just large enough for stuffing with cheese, crumbing and then baking which the flesh stood up to well. I will definitely be trying these again this season.

What are the pros? Excellent Yield and Color

What are the cons? None

Review:

We planted these to add some flare to our organic farm. Each plant must be staked or else your yield will be small. Started indoors about a month before the last frost. We had a huge amount of peppers and towards the end they were brilliant red. Make sure you get some compost in the ground before transplanting.

What are the pros? Nice flavor

What are the cons? So slow to mature

Review:

Pretty nice pepper, looks great in a bottle of vinegar with other colored peppers. Vinegar makes wonderful salad dressings. Fine for stuffing with cheese and frying... Slow to germinate and grow but once they get going should work out well...Not one turned red or yellow...
