70 days. The first tomato we harvested in our 2014 Missouri garden. This pink slicer boasts positively superb flavor—everyone who tried it was impressed! The flavor is perfect—an ideal balance of sweet to tart, with complex “old fashioned” undertones. Heavy yielder of large pink fruits, on vines that appeared to have some disease resistance

What are the pros? Flavor, meatiness

What are the cons? Slow to ripen

Review:

These took forever to ripen for me. Last to ripen out of half a dozen varieties I planted. However, once you finally get to taste them, it is worth the wait. The flavor is excellent! The tomatoes are a nice manageable size, and very meaty (not much seeds/juice). Also, they were very regular in shape, zero cracking, blemish free. I will definitely grow them again.

What are the pros? Grew fine

What are the cons? Zero Fruit

Review:

Perhaps our nights are too cool for this tomato but it is hands down the most disappointing tomato I have ever grown. Every year I like to add an experimental tomato to the group of ones I've had repeated success with in the past. I planted two of these and while all my others performed this produced exactly ZERO fruit! I have never had that happen with any experimental I've grown over the years. This was an unusually cooler summer so that may be why it failed so badly. I'll never grow this one again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone in more Northern climates.

What are the pros? heavy yeild, great flavor

What are the cons? Took a bit of work to sprout

Review:

My first batch of seeds (5) only 1 grew the second (5) all sprouted. IT WAS WORTH IT! these are the best sandwich tomatoes. One plants yields a lot of fruit. I got the neighbor kids in on it (they didn't know what a tomato was, they asked their mom and she responded "the red thing on their BK sandwich". They were practically begging at my door for these all summer long. Then we had a "fried green tomato" party at the end of the season! I will be growing these EVERY YEAR!

What are the pros? none

What are the cons? does not fruit

Review:

This is a very disappointing tomato. I planted several of these and with a single exception they have either not flowered or have not set. Even set spray did not help. The one plant to set a tomato has one sad looking fruit on it. I will never buy this one again.
