This dwarf variety produces distinctive mahogany-red flowers, which are large in size and fully double. A great variety that flowers very early, making them among the first flowers of summer.

What are the pros? Beautiful and hardy

What are the cons? BIG

Review:

These flowers were great, they survived a random frost and are so pretty now! Only problem is that they aren't dwarf AT ALL. I got these for my veggie garden to keep the bad bugs away and they're taking over I can't even plant alot of things because my marigolds are three times the size that I gave them room for. But they're still gorgeous.

What are the pros? Gorgeous and healthy

What are the cons? plants are large!

Review:

They bloomed in late August, and the flowers are huge, gorgeous, and plentiful. I'll grow them again. The "dwarf variety" is a load of manure. All of mine are over 3 feet tall and close to that in diameter.

What are the pros? drought tolerant, butterflies

What are the cons? None!

Review:

This is a great little marigold. We had a drought in Ottawa last year and while everything else was dying these were going strong. They also attracted butterflies I hadn't seen in my garden before, and bees love them too. They're vibrant without being garish. Much nicer than the marigolds you'd buy at the garden centre.

Review:

Planted these outdoors in April in Northern Illinois. They took a while to get started, but by August, they were starting to bloom. However, they attracted Japanese beetles. Once the beetles left, they bloomed in full and took over the entire box. Great, easy flowers that did beautifully.

Review:

A very pretty marigold. They germinate indoors fairly quickly, but they take time to mature to bloom. The wait is worth it though. They are a very pretty marigold. They tolerate heat very well, and have even come back after repeated munchings by the neighborhood woodchuck.
