What are the pros? super fast growing and early
What are the cons? none
Started indoors in my apartment in late April. Set out the week before Memorial Day. Was fully mature in my flower box the first week in July. I live in Alaska and I'm quite sure if I had set it out earlier it would have reached maturity even more quickly. It's BEAUTIFUL. I almost don't want to pick it because it's so pretty.

What are the pros? Compact Plants
What are the cons? None
Blazed ahead of all the other cabbages in both germination and growing time. Already headed up before July, not one split head even with 2 weeks of rain. Compact growing habit is also a plus - didn't take up nearly as much space as the other cabbage varieties and allowed space for more plants. Will plant next year for sure.

What are the pros? great single meal size
I grew these little red cabbages this year and absolutely loved them. They have a wonderful, mild flavor and did very well here on the high plains of CO where gardening can be very challenging. I started some inside in late Mar. and started some in the garden. Both yielded well. I harvested all summer. The summer heat slowed the late planted ones down but when cooler fall weather hit they headed out nicely. I will always plant these.
