Review:

I was given a handful of early plants from a friend in May. She just pulled em up and I just stuck em in the ground with a prayer. I didn't water them at all except for the day they were put in the ground! THEY ARE MAGNIFICENT! I am an egg girl and these leaves no matter the size are excellent wilted down in my eggs. With some garlic it's even more amazing! If I'm out in the garden and want a snack I just took a few early leaves and enjoyed them. As for gelatinous like okra I didn't get that at all, though I didn't juice them. I am glad to hear from the Georgia responder about their coming up from seed. As far as I am concerned, they can have that side of the porch! They are indeed a beautiful plant as well as being edible and this is always appealing to me. I did come to the Baker Heirloom site to find out about harvesting the seed for planting elsewhere next year in another area nearby, without having to wait for plants to emerge in the spring.
