Riccia Cuor D'Oro Endive

(Golden Heart Endive) Early Frisee-type with deep-green outer leaves shading to a warm cream-color interior. Elaborate leaves are very deeply notched, or, as the Italians would say, 'molto fastigliata.' Blanching prior to harvest makes for a milder flavor and a more delicate color. Best grown as a fall crop. "Buon apetito!'
